Sid Shroyer returns to the Temple Religious School as Director after having taught Holocaust to seventh and eight graders between 2002 and 2011. Sid is a present member and past president of the board of directors of the Kurt and Tessye Simon Fund for Holocaust Remembrance.  He also serves on the board of the Simon Foundation. 


Sid is retired from New Prairie High School where he served as English Department Chairman and taught Dual Credit and AP Language. Sid developed and taught an elective semester class on the literature of the Holocaust at New Prairie from 2001 to 20013. His Holocaust teaching training includes the Belfer Conference of the Unites States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., the Holocaust and Jewish Resistance Teacher Program trip to Israel, Germany, and Poland, and the Memorial Library Teacher Seminar in New York City. 


Sid is married to Judy and their children, Matt and Lily, live and work in New York City, New York. He was born in Marion, Indiana and is a graduate of Indiana University.
